TIPS ON MAINTAINING AN EPOXY FLOOR.

Maintenance ensures longevity and aesthetics of epoxy floors.

Below are some general tips for maintaining an epoxy floor;

• Sweep your floors regularly.
• Mop the floors to ensure sufficient washing and Scrub if need be.
• Clean with warm water.
• Chemical spills should be cleaned immediately so as not to damage the floor.
• High performance epoxy stains less compared to other floors but if it stains treat it immediately.
• Keep sharp objects away so as not to scratch the floors.
• Ensure all areas are clean before lifting heavy loads with rolling jacks.
• Do not use any cleaner that contains acids or soap-based cleaners.
• Use a welding mat when welding above epoxy coatings.
• For minor spills or vehicle drippings, simply wipe them up with a paper towel or other soft cloth.

These are mostly do-it-yourself tips for an epoxy floor maintenance but it is important to note that professional epoxy maintenance is also important at least after a couple of months.
