Ceramic is made up clay and water which are put under a glaze as ceramic is naturally porous.
Porcelain is made up of sand-like materials glazed under high pressure and heat.

Porcelain tiles are denser than ceramic tiles meaning it absorbs less water compared to ceramic.This also allows porcelain tiles to have the advantage of being installed outdoors as compared to ceramic.
- Strength
Porcelain tiles are stronger compared to ceramic tiles
- Installation
Ceramic tiles are easy to install compared to Porcelain tiles which need special skills.
- Affordability
Ceramic are said to be more affordable and available compared to porcelain tiles.
